Eh, i'm on the fence about this one. I'm not familiar with The Spirit, but Samuel L is awesome. Gabriel Macht? Whatever...Lots of hot chicks, Cool. I'll see it, but I have no preconcieved notions of how this is supposed to be or how it's going to do.

i think it will do well at the box office but will without a doubt be negatively reviewed by critics. i think a lot of fans will lov it or hate it because it really is going to be a strange movie. the dialogue seems to be intentionally over-acted. and there is a lot of 40's detective kind of dialogue. the specific visual style that was seen in sin city will be taken a step forward with progressive frame and scene changes.

Looks great
overall an amusing movie that most comic movie fans will enjoy simply cos it's an entertaining concept. I think they did this successfully and it will come out great, especially with the big name stars.

Yeah I think it'll be great in that over the top Frank Miller kinda way. People will see it because of the success and visual similarity to Sin City. I think most people aren't as familiar with The Spirit strips so there is a bit more lee way as far as keeping true to the original story. Of course there will always be those hardcore fans, but as Abraham Lincoln said, you can't please all of the people all of the time.

For a movie that is PG-13, they are relying a lot on sexuality. Hopefully the movie won't be just a big [wiener] tease.

I knew that comment was going to say wiener, but I said it anyway. It's hilarious. They should make more censored words that are funny like that.

Yea, I got on them about the whole [wiener] censoring things, it does make for some good entertainment sometimes, such as [wiener] Tracy, Game [wiener]s, [wiener]block, han[wiener], [wiener] your weapon, stop [wiener]ing around, poppy[wiener], [wiener]atoo, [wiener]ed and ready, [wiener]head, Emily [wiener]inson, Charles [wiener]ens, etc etc. ALL pretty funny.

Make pussy something hilarious like "fun parts" or "awesome". Or maybe "Something that most people who get on this website have never seen". Kinda long though. Or go the Role Models way and just make it "whispering eye". Great Movie!
