Paramount Pictures and Marvel Entertainment present the epic adventure, "Thor," which spans the Marvel Universe from present day Earth to the realm of Asgard. At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans. A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love. It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

"There are very flamboyant spins you can do, and little flips even. Other than that, it's about brutally swinging this in the direction of your enemy and ending things."

However, the actor wouldn't be tempted into showing off some of the more extreme moves we see in the movie itself!

"What would [Thor] say? You'll have to see the movie."

With an all star cast which includes Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Tom Hiddleston as Loki, Anthony Hopkins as Odin, Natalie Portman as Jane Foster, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Thor is out now in the UK and will be released shortly after in the US on May 6, later this year!

Lol. Nice interview. I loved it when he did that little spinning hammer catch in the film. Can't wait to see this again on Friday!

Yes, he spins Mjolnir around, delivering in the face of jotuns, he spins in order to fly... just like the comics. Those battle moments are great.
