Marvel Studios’ “Thor: The Dark World” continues the big-screen adventures of Thor, the Mighty Avenger, as he battles to save Earth and all the Nine Realms from a shadowy enemy that predates the universe itself. In the aftermath of Marvel’s “Thor” and “Marvel’s The Avengers,” Thor fights to restore order across the cosmos…but an ancient race led by the vengeful Malekith returns to plunge the universe back into darkness. Faced with an enemy that even Odin and Asgard cannot withstand, Thor must embark on his most perilous and personal journey yet, one that will reunite him with Jane Foster and force him to sacrifice everything to save us all. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Christopher Eccleston, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Kat Dennings, Ray Stevenson, Zachary Levi, Tadanobu Asano and Jaimie Alexander with Rene Russo & Anthony Hopkins as Odin, “Thor: The Dark World” is directed by Alan Taylor, produced by Kevin Feige, from a story by Don Payne and screenplay by Christopher Yost and Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely and is based on Marvel’s classic Super Hero Thor, who first appeared in the comic book “Journey into Mystery” #83 in August, 1962. “Thor: The Dark World” is presented by Marvel Studios. The executive producers are Louis D’Esposito, Alan Fine, Stan Lee, Victoria Alonso, Craig Kyle and Nigel Gostelow. The film releases November 8, 2013, and is distributed by Walt Disney Studios.

kurse looks nothing like what he does in the comics but saying that this take on him does look blinding.

Only thing I'm worried about is the chance of the action being waay too practical and realistic...when it comes to battles in Asgard ect with Thor.. It should NOT be realistic. Thor battles need to be epic with collateral damage, atleast IMO

Is Loki wearing his Avengers suit?

Kurse looks Predator-ish. Cool. I hoped for a bit more color but I can't wait to see him and Thor throw down. And I hope they make Thor more powerful and explain why he can kill a 100 ton frost monster...but gets kicked around by Iron Man.

@ArmoredAsgardian- Iron man never kicked Thor around

Kurse is horrible. Nothing like the comics. Should be a mask not a monster. Colors are wrong. Looks like a leftover from J. Carter of Mars.

@Jollem- not at all. Iron man power level was increased to 400% while Thor WAS HOLDING back and stark still struggled. And Starks attacks hardly did any damage towards Thor while Thors attacks actually damaged Starks suit. Keep in mind thAt that joss ended the fight once Thor got his hammer back. Anymore from Thor and stark would have been done

@Trollem

IM did not make Thor look stupid. Thor was manhandling Tony. That's why IM's suit was left damaged while Thor didn't have a single scratch on him.

The last Thor suit look different than the previous ones. huh

And if Trollem thinks that Tony made Thor look stupid, then I wonder what he will think when Batman kicks Superman's ass in MOS2. We all know that is going to happen.

To bad the figures we get in the store are never painted as good as these. Even if a figure has limited articulation and not sculpted in great detail, a good paint application can do wonders. I skip a lot of these (mainly 3 3/4 in)because they look like a blind man painted them with a spray can.

@Trollem

Show me this "slap".

And we both know Batman is going to curbstomp Supes, especially since that Dark Knight Returns quote was used to announce the MOS sequel. You actually think WB is going to let their top cash cow lose to Supes? Ha!

@Jollem- well dont you think it's kinda funny how the fight ended once Thor got his hammer back? Iron man did not kick Thor around before he got juiced or after. Thor took it like it was nothing. I did not see Thor expressing or showing any pain. (before iron man gets juiced) stark surprise attacked Thor while flying Into him while he was too busy talkin to Loki. After Thor attacks iron man, stark gets up slowly and fires another quick surprise attack on him that Thor clearly did not expect.. as Thor shakes it off he is kicked through a tree and recovers like it was nothing. How was he slapped around? Stark obv received more serious damage. Lets not forget Thor didnt even use his hammer for almost the hole fight. Stark.. Did not Stand a chance
NightForce
NightForce - 7/21/2013, 4:27 PM
Not tryin to agrue but Yeah Iron man made Thor look stupid before he was juiced up. He kicked Thor thru a tree and tossed him like he was nothing. Sure Thor wasn't harmed but still that fight shouldn't have been as long as it was. Iron Man got hit by Mjolnir and brushed it off like it was nothing. Ridiculous. And continuity wise if the suits are manhandled by the Extremis soldiers in IM3 how does he stand a chance against Thor?

The figures from the last movie were god[frick]ingawful. This does not fill me with hope for the future. Loki looks like the Avengers figure with a new head. That I might consider
XelCorp
XelCorp - 7/21/2013, 4:36 PM
@Jollem- and yes Thor was holding back. If he really wanted to he could of clearly ripped tony out of the suit if he really wanted to OR he could of fried Starks suit into pieces just like you saw him destroy 2 Chitauri Lev's at the end of the avengers. "We'll If Thor can kill/beat him why doesn't he then?" You may ask... If you watch and compare him from his first movie (Thor) to avengers he is a different person and is not a reckless as he used to be.. If this fight had taken place in the first Thor film, Thor would have prob killed him. In Avengers Thor hardly used powers while going up against stark.. When Thor fights the hulk later on you can clearly see that he was actually putting in effort towards the hulk.. The hit that Thor gave hulk that landed hulk on his ass would have killed stark. Thor man handled tony,... Period
