I stumbled across these animated Thor classics from 1967 and thought I would share them with you. "Enter Hercules" has not one but two classic gods from mythology and seems to be drawn in the classic "Kirby" style.

Let me know what you think.

Do you find these as enjoyable as I did over 40 years after their creation?

I watched these as a kid.

As hokey and dated as they are, I still love em. I was lucky enough to catch these way before I even read a comic book so that when I got into reading Marvel it was like I already knew all about all the key players like Sub Mariner, Iron Man, Thor, etc

When I found them on Youtube I just had to rewatch as many as I could. It's like early motion-comic and it's pure classic Marvel goodness

What a lot of people don't realize about these classic Marvel 60's cartoons is that they actually are "motion comics". They took actual panels from the comics and just added some motion here and there to give the illusion of animation. I've got fond memories of watching these as a kid, even if they are a little hokey by modern standards. Loved the theme songs too.

I loved this stuff when I was a kid and still do. Around 2004 someone on ebay was offering all the 1966 Marvel Cartoons on dvd in a set. I bought them and every no now and then I watch'em. This particular episode of Thor is interesting not only because ot the battle but the person voicing Hercules is frickin spot on.

The idea of Hercules in a Thor movie could possibly work, I can only take but so much Loki.

@Joey

I'll entertain that notion when Thor too becomes susceptible to the harmful powers of yellow.

They should retain the theme song for the movie
