BUMBLEBEE: New Featurette Shines A Spotlight On Director Travis Knight
Paramount Pictures has released a great new featurette, shining a spotlight on Bumblebee director Travis Knight, who will be the first to helm a live-action Transformers movie in the post-Michael Bay era.
2x Academy Award-nominated director/animator Travis Knight received widespread critical acclaim for his directorial debut Kubo and the Two Strings in 2016 and this Christmas, he's going to bring some of that magic to the Transformers universe with his first live-action film, Bumblebee.
The new movie, which is set in 1987, puts the fan-favorite Autobot front-and-center as he embarks on the first of his many adventures on Earth. He'll be joined by a human cast that features Hailee Steinfeld (Pitch Perfect 3), John Cena (Blockers), and Jorge Lendeborg Jr. (Spider-Man: Homecoming), amongst others.
Since Knight will be the first director to helm a Transformers film in the post-Michael Bay era, Paramount Pictures has shared a sweet new featurette, spotlighting the franchise newcomer and revealing new behind-the-scenes footage from the set of the upcoming spinoff.
