Bumblebee star Hailee Steinfeld has just debuted her brand new single, "Back to Life," from the original motion picture soundtrack for her upcoming Travis Knight-directed Transformers spinoff/prequel.
Republic Records and Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld have debuted a brand new original song, titled "Back to Life," which will feature as the lead single on the upcoming original motion picture soundtrack for Paramount's Bumblebee.
The song, which was produced by Jorgen Odegard and co-written by him with Michael Pollack, Josh Gudwin and Kennedy Lykken, is currently available to purchase on iTunes and Amazon. On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee finds refuge in a junkyard in a small Californian beach town. Charlie (Hailee Steinfeld), on the cusp of turning 18 and trying to find her place in the world, discovers Bumblebee, battle-scarred and broken. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns this is no ordinary, yellow VW bug.
