"Transformers: Dark of the Moon" features Sam Witwicky (LaBeouf) taking his first tenuous steps into adulthood while remaining a reluctant human ally of Optimus Prime. The film centers around the space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA, suggesting there was a hidden Transformers role in it all that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets. The villain of the third film will be Shockwave.


Transformers: Dark of the Moon hits theaters July 1, 2011.

i saw an article today that had photos of the truck above on the film set. so this is totally legit. unfortunately.

wish he was just a bigass gun like he was in the cartoons.

well megatron did have a big gun but i can't remember what he transformed into in the comics. i like it. i mean he's supppose to be white with a big gun.

SERIOUSLY...cmon...why have they done that to megatron? hes just an evil optimus prime now.sucks.
Guys i dont know if any of you noticed but there are actually more than one transformer in the new trailer besides the one at the end that everyone seeems to think is alpha trion or unicron...you can make there faces out and shapes of their bodies!

There hasn't been a true Transformers movie out since the 80's.

As for these, just gotta kind've accept them for what they are. Megatron turning into a truck? It's not nearly as upsetting as Devastator having testicles and getting beat by the redneck-twins.

@GUNSMITH EXACTLY! And WTF was up with that scene? First he tells starscream "Even in death There is no command greater than mine" and then immediately after that he goes "What is thy bidding my master" WTF! What is he darth vader now? Megatron serves no one. He had the balls to tell off unicron in G1 and now hes a joke. I wouldnt be so mad if Bay would just look at the source material once in a while.

Calm down guys. Maybe hes a truck for a good reason. Like maybe he is hiding on earth so hes a truck so he cant be recognized. Also it would be cool if hes a gun but think about it, he would turn into a gun that fits in Soundwaves or Starscreams hand. That would be lame.
