SPOILERS: Surprising New Plot Details Revealed For TRANSFORMERS 5

One of the Transformers voice actors has spilled the beans and seemingly revealed some major plot beats from the next instalment of the franchise, and with both the Dinobots and characters like Unicron set to play major roles, this could just be the movie you've been waiting for...

Despite the usual denials, Michael Bay is expected to return to helm the fifth Transformers movie, a release which will no doubt once again earn well over $1 billion at the worldwide box office. With a writers room assembled earlier this year, production will no doubt ramp up soon, but it seems the basic premise has already been decided upon. Talking at a convention in the UK recently, voice actor Mark Ryan (Jetfire, Lockdown) revealed that the plan is to have Cade Yeager (Mark Wahlberg) and the Dinobots - with a few Autobots thrown in for good measure - assemble to tackle an impending threat on Earth, while Optimus Prime will head into outer space to hunt down the creators of his race, the Quintessons, something which will see him reportedly meet up with Unicron. It's the latter storyline which looks set to lead into some of those planned spinoffs, and Ryan went on to reveal that Transformers 5 will begin shooting early next year. What do you think?

I thought Michael Bay was done directing the TF films. The Unicron bit sounds good, but I don't know about the rest. I'm hoping there's at least SOME bit of goodness to come.

@Nickk, you can't have TF without the humans. I'm sorry, but that's just how it is.

I made the mistake to watch AoE at the movies. This was the last Bay garbage I ever gave my money for.

The first TF was awesome. After that, Bay scr*wed everything up. This franchise really should die.

@ckal

I know, why can't we have a classic "impending doom of pluto" plot for a chance. That would be like 12 times better

I am so done with this franchise. First was alright. Second one was shit. Third one was another piece of shit. Age of Extinction.... Wow, I'm not even going to start on that. Sad thing is I watched all of them in theater! DONE

All of your complaints do nothing to stop Transformers. As I always state, everyone here complaining has seen most if not all the Transformers movies in theaters, then wonders why they keep making these movies. Maybe I get a response from the ONE person who only saw the first or saw the others on TV. Still doesn't do anything. I however will keep maniacally laughing at everyones misery as I do enjoy the Transformers movies and excited for a 5th and 6th one.

Ugh... The franchise has potential, but every single one of these films have been awful. I don't know what kind of Rose glasses people were wearing when they liked the first... It was just as bad.

And no, Gigacrusher45, I've not bought a ticket since being told that the first one was "surprisingly awesome". It wasn't. People who have no cares about story structure, pacing, characterization, logic, acting or editing are the ones who support this garbage.

What's really sad is that there's a generation forming out there that has no idea why these films are considered bad and other films about outlandish things like robots and explosions are good.

I could care less for the movies even if I might watch at home. But as long as they keep making them; then they will keep making these for me too enjoy.
