POLL: What Did You Think Of TRANSFORMERS: AGE OF EXTINCTION?

Michael Bay's fourth Transformers flick only hits UK theaters this weekend, but it's been playing in the States for a week now. We already know it's made all of the money, but is it actually any good? Have your say after the jump.

Where's the choice for "Not going to bother to watch it?" Because that is the one I would pick.

As long as Michael Bay is directing the Transformers movies, I'm not going to spend money on them.

His TF movies are mediocre garbage.

I actually enjoyed the movie for what it was. I think Mark Walhberg is a better action star than Shia LeBeoufe was and the story was a little bit better than the last couple movies. I didn't think that the crappy comedy was in it as much. TJ Miller's character kind of did the cheesy Michael Bay comedy but he dies so that didn't last long.

I would say that it was better than the last two moives but not as good as the first movie because that is the only one that is truly a good moive.

Anyone who expected a movie on par with The Avengers or The Dark Knight has to be retarded. The movie was OK, you care about the autobots, the humans not so much, action and special effects are pretty good, but the final battle is way too long, again! It has it's funny moments, but overall it's a movie worth watching once

As someone who hated the first movies, has no prior history of nostalgia with the cartoon and who hasn't actually seen it yet I have to say go see for yourself. I've been reading all types of reviews and they all say the same thing up until the actual review part. It's supposedly better than the first ones but I hear it's horrible, some say it's pretty good and some say it's decent. With reviews all over the place it leaves the people who haven't seen it no other option than to part with their ten bucks and go see it and judge for themselves. Bring a snack though because one think all the reviews I've read have in common is that the movie is way too long.

It was a flaming piece of dogshit. Lazy filmmaking, horrible characters, atrocious dialogue, the autobots are complete idiots, Galvatron was a scooby doo villain and pretty much did NOTHING, and the action wasn't even as good as the previous movies. In fact, I was actually BORED watching the action in this one. I just wanted this [frick]ing thing to end!

Oh and one more thing... transformium... TRANSFORMIUM?! LOL WHAT?? Go home Bay, just go home.

It was so meh. Nothing of real intrigue or consequence. Nothing new. No explanations for half of whats going on. Nothing. At one point Optimus is hurt and then the next he's good to go. These are getting worse. I love transformers but this was so unneeded as a movie. The reason they can do this is because the Transformers will continue to make as many as Bay wants. No major actors here to demand too much money and force a reboot.

REBOOT THIS NOW BECAUSE ITS BECOMING A JOKE.

I really feel like people should know if they like these movies or not by now. Therefore why do people who hate these movies with a passion keep watching them? It really is a movie mystery. A question for all of you complaining about this movie. Why did you see it? We had three movies so far and if you didn't like them then WHY did you see this movie?

Walking out the theater I eavesdropped on what people had to say about the film and not a single good comment was made.

I was pleasantly surprised. Besides the stupid cloud transformations and the boyfriend, this one is up there with the first film. Lots of great comradery between the Autobots, Lockdown was a badass, and its nice to see Optimus get sick of some shit. After having stuck up for the humans for three movies and their stupid bullshit and having his thanks paid by killing off his friends, its nice to see him loosen up and not take any crap, it seemed more natural.

And Transformium might be a stupid name, but nothing is worse than this...

Its like this- if you thought Pacific Rim was great and you one of the ones making noise over a sequel then you will like Transformers 4.
If you came out of Godzilla smiling then Transformers 4 you should like.
Why? Because the only redeeming qualities of Rim and Godzilla are the scenes of Jaeger vs Kaiju and Godzilla vs MUTO. The rest of both of those movies was garbage.
Transformers 4 has more than enough action...probably too much and the humans and their dialogue is more tolerable than SyFy channel Pacific Rim acting and "Meh" zilla's boring characters.
I am of course not referring to Idris Elba or Bryan Cranston.
Its worthy of a one time viewing matinee priced ticket. Which I cannot say about Rim or Godzilla or even Amazing Spider-Man 2

Ror, coming from you this article disappoints.

Most from this site won't see this movie, and from those who do, many of those won't give a fucck. IE; flat article.

Let's get back to some flame baiting, racist or sexist articles... or ANYTHING where we can bash SONY/Webb/Arad/Garf and co.

Must be a quiet day across the pond ;-)

Whats funny is some people who swear Pacific Rim is great like Dennis Tzeng from AMC movie talk and Think Hero Pro will with a straight face call Transformers 4 unwatchable garbage. People fawning over Snore zilla and then saying Bay raped their childhood. Same genre same dialogue same characters and yet again the critically bashed Transformers is the butt of every internet critics jokes as if Pacific Rim and Godzilla were flat out perfect masterpieces. By the logic of the Schmoes who said it "stoinks" then that same logic falls to Pacific Rim by the mighty Del Toro and Meh-zilla by Edwards

It was a fun ride. There were just some things I would've fixed. (more DINOBOT characterization, less of that antihero business man) everything else wasn't too bad. Ill give it an 8.0/10 (great action, characters and more autobot/decepticon characterization) especially seeing that you know who wasn't killed off in this film which paves the way for more with his character.

Pacific Rim garbage humor weakly played by charlie day and Ron Pearlman.
garbage acting by Charlie Hunnam and basically everyone.
you went to Pacific Rim to see robots vs monsters and what you got wais two great set pieces surrounded by nonsense. A human connecting to a monster half a brain. In the shadow of an apocalypse there is a thriving black market for monster bits that will help you sexually? In order to find your perfect robot teammate you have to kick each others asses with sticks ?

Pacific Rim was garbage. T4 (same genre) more entertaining film and actually worth the ticket price. Pacific Rim is trash. The best fight was a flashback news report shown for ten seconds. Every Jaeger was pretty much destroyed in one scene so the whole movie is basically gypsy danger vs monsters with side orders of pure nonsense.

Ok forget the back story does not exist in this case. But It was just good summer action if you leave your brain at the door. Loved the Dinobots and you know it left the door open for more Galvatron-Megatron action. Goof story wild action. Was not a complete waste of film.
HubisKhan

This was the worst of the 4. I didn't think that the dialogue and plot holes couldn't get any worse than Revenge of the Fallen. I was wrong. Bad editing, bad acting, just bad everything. The dinobots scenes were cool, but that was about it. I can't wait to see the Cinema Sins installment of "Everything Wrong with Transformers, Age of Extinction". That should be a 30 minutes long video.
