People really seem to love giant, transforming, alien robots because in just over a day "Transformers" has raked in $36.3 million. It now holds the Tuesday record for, in a single day, bringing in $27.4 million. This beats out Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, which pulled in only $15.7 million last year.

Keep it up Optimus!
