A few days ago i got the Transformers: Dark of the Moon junior novel (because they didn't have the long one) and i read it in an hour and it was AMAZING. Read on for the full DETAILED plot.

It starts off on Cybertron during the "Great War" with Optimus looking overhead at the "Ark" flies off away from Cybertron. The pilot is Sentinel Prime he heads for another planet and ends up crash landing on the moon meanwhile in the white house the president gets word of what has happened and immediately send a space team up to the Moon.

We go over to Sam who is still adjusting to life without Bumblebee and the Autobots. Lately he has been feeling under appreciated and angry because he has saved the world TWICE now and is still not working with the Autobots and i being forced to get a real job after saving the world twice. We then meet his new girlfriend Carly who is encouraging Sam to get a job. We then meet Wheelie and Brains two Autobots who have been living with Sam and Carly since the Egypt Battle.

Meanwhile we go over to Optimus and Lennoxes team investigate Chernobyl. They get there and the ground erupts and Shockwave pours out from the bottom and hes with the driller from the trailers. He begins to attack Optimus who transformers his trailer and brings out a shield and fights off Shockwave who steal a piece from the Ark.

Sam is getting ready to leave for his job at an energy plant or something. he heads to Bruce's office and sit and waits. Bruce walks in and begins to lecture Sam about workmanship and productivity. it all ends with Sam taking the job.

Back with the Autobots Optimus is furious with the government for keeping this secret from him and the rest of his team. It is revealed that the entire space race was to continue getting pieces of the Ark and all its knowledge. Optimus demands that he and ratchet head up to the moon to investigate, while up their he and ratchet find the "Pillars", the pieces needed to open a space bridge but they also find Sentinel Prime who is in stasis. They bring Sentinel and the pillars back to earth.

Sam goes in on his first day and half way through the day is stopped by a man who claims to have knowledge of the decepticons plot and gives Sam an envelope filled with their battle plan. Sam then heads over to get Carly from Dylan Gould, Carly's boss, they both head over to the nest base where they are greeted by lennox. they then talk with Optimus who wakes up Sentinel.

On the way back they are attacked by the Dreads.
