Duncan Jones Is Game To Direct Some Episodes Of AMC's PREACHER TV Series

Though the show is only in the very early stages of development, during a Twitter exchange with Seth Rogen, the Warcraft director admits that he'd "eat his own arm off" for the opportunity to helm.

Over the weekend, Ain’t It Cool News‘ Eric Vespe tweeted Seth Rogen with the casting suggestion of Kurt Russell for the Saint Of Killer's role in Rogen and Evan Goldberg's small screen adaptation of the controversial DC Vertigo classic, Preacher. This led to Warcraft director Duncan Jones joining the conversation, and although a lot of the exchanges are clearly banter, it does sound like Jones is genuinely interested in getting involved:

Then, after a fan suggested Rian Johnson (Looper) also try his hand at directing an ep or two, this happened:

Goldberg then interjected, joking that they could shoot aboard the Millennium Falcon if that made things easier. Now obviously none of this is any real indication that either Jones or Johnson will actually wind up directing some Preacher, but it's pretty cool to know that there's genuine interest there. Maybe Rian Johnson and Duncan Jones can make Preacher tolerable/enjoyable.

Sorry if I piss anyone off. I'm not a Garth Ennis fan.
