Based on this promo, that high pitch theme song no longer fits the show

Like the Gallifrey reveal. Didn't like the reveal about the Doctor.

I mean... The reveal didn't mean anything to me. They only talked about Gallifrey for two episodes before this? And the Timeless Child thing, that was only mentioned in 11x02 by flying blankets before them?

I mean, I don't know. This didn't feel big in any way. And it should have been big. I recall how hyped people were in 2013 when The Name of the Doctor was about to air, that is how you set up a reveal (there wasn't any but you get the point).

And I don't really like the idea of Doctor being someone so [frick]ing special.

She could have been a direct descendant of the Timeless Child, maybe?

Or she [frick]ed up the time-space continuum and changed the past of Gallifrey, causing Time Lords to be exposed to the vortex, changing their DNA thousands of years ago, and since she is an outcast, the High Council conceals it somehow? You'd still get an angry Master out of this as well.

I like Master's reaction to it tbh, but this could have been a lot better.

@Memorator - I think it should have been revealed Susan was the Timeless Child. It would have been a surprise twist since EVERYONE already thought it would be the doctor. Susan remains one of the big mysteries of Doctor Who. Who was she? Was she actually a Timelord? Was she actually the Doctor's biological granddaughter or adopted?

This would have reopened a new mystery, brought back in a surprise classic character for old fans, and introduced New Who audiences to a surprise that the Doctor has a granddaughter and has maybe even been a parent before. If she was the Timeless child, it also would have made sense for the Doctor to have stolen her away from Gallifry when he fled.

Terrible. All I can write for now. A complete clusterf*ck that messes with the canon in confusing and head scratching ways. More later

I think I’m officially done with this show until Chibnall is done.
