THE TIES THAT BIND - A group of teens get a scare when a disheveled young pregnant woman approaches them muttering for help. Unfortunately, the woman doesn't survive but her baby does. Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) begin questioning suspects in her murder, and after consuming the victim's brain, a fierce maternal instinct kicks in for Liv. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) makes a shocking discovery. Rahul Kohli and David Anders also star. Patrick Norris directed the episode written by Bob Dearden (#107).

From the executive producers of Veronica Mars, iZOMBIE stars Rose McIver (Power Rangers R.P.M.) as Olivia “Liv” Moore, a medical resident on the fast track to a perfect life … until she’s turned into a zombie. Now stuck between half-alive and undead, Liv transfers to the city morgue to reluctantly access the only thing that allows her to maintain her humanity — human brains. But there are side effects to Liv’s new diet. With each brain she consumes, she experiences flashes of the corpse’s memories — including, at times, clues as to how they were killed. Her boss, a brilliant but eccentric conspiracy theorist, encourages her to embrace this gift and to work with an eager, unproven homicide detective to help solve these murders … and quiet the voices in her head. iZOMBIE is based upon characters published by DC Entertainment’s Vertigo imprint.

iZombie features:
Rose McIver as Olivia "Liv" Moore
Malcolm Goodwin as Clive Babinaux
Rahul Kohli as Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti
Robert Buckley as Major Lilywhite
David Anders as Blaine DeBeers
Aly Michalka as Peyton Charles
Molly Hagan as Eva Moore
Nick Purcha as Evan Moore
Bradley James as Lowell Casey

Blain is pretty much building up an army, I wonder how Liv will fight him.

Surprisingly this show has been good. I guess I should have known it would be, I did like Veronica Mars after all. It's funny seeing King Arthur as a zombie. For people that don't know, one of the actors was from the show Merlin. So that's what I'm talking about.

@Triptheorist not exactly sure where you read that, but it's very wrong. iZombie's ratings have been really good and it's listed as certain to be renewed

I couldn't even make it through two episodes. Felt way too much like a CW show.

I love this show! When a show that's 40 minutes long makes me feel that it lasted 20 minutes then it must continue!

This show is definitely Veronica Mars in a Zombie World though ! Not that I mind :)
