HBO's insanely popular series, Game of Thrones, is gearing up for its final season this month and to get fans hyped for the last six episodes, a 50 song playlist has been created. This Spotify playlist, according to series creators, is the key to finding the answer to how this series finally ends.

The show, which is a television adaptation of the novels by celebrated Author George R. R. Martin, follows many characters in the world of Westeros as they attempt to claw their way onto the titular throne, and if Weiss and Benioff are to be believed, fans may just be able to find out who will ultimately claim the highest seat in the Seven Kingdoms if they search this new playlist.

“The answer to the ending is one hundred percent hidden in the playlist choices. No one will believe us, but it’s true. We were looking for songs that made us feel the way the show made us feel. There’s variety in there—Rage is not Johnny Cash. But they both have a deep inherent power.”

As you can see, with a list of 50 songs there truly is a lot of variety, with tracks from artists such as Prince, Queen, Thrice, System Of A Down, Kanye West, Cage The Elephant, and many many more. Take a quick look at the playlist below to see the full line-up of artists and songs.

What do you think? Will you be digging deep into this playlist to find the answers you seek, or would you rather be surprised and experience it for yourself? Let us know below and check out the trailer for Game Of Thrones Season 8!

Game of Thrones is roughly based on the storylines of A Song of Ice and Fire, set in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros and the continent of Essos. The series chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the realm's noble families for the Iron Throne, while other families fight for independence from it.

Season 8 of Game of Thrones premieres this Sunday, April 14th. Will you be watching?
