Believe it or not, we're already more than halfway done with the current season of HBO's hit fantasy series Game of Thrones, meaning there's only one episode between us and this season's penultimate installment - which if the rumors are to believed, will feature the show's biggest, most intense battle yet.

However, before we get to that, episode five will first deal with the fallout from last week's fiery encounter, which saw the Lannister forces decimated and Jaime Lannister possibly K.I.A.

HBO has released eight photos from this Sunday's episode and while they don't provide any answers on the fates of Jaime & Bronn, we do get a look at Tyrion walking the scorched battlefield, possibly looking for a small sign that his brother is indeed alive. Daenerys & Jon Snow also feature heavily as they plan their next moves while Sam & Gilly continue to do research. We also catch a glimpse of Cersei sitting on her bed, ruminating on her most recent defeat.

Check out photos from episode five, titled "Eastwatch," below:

Episode #65: "Eastwatch"

Debut: SUNDAY, AUGUST 13 (9:00-10:00 p.m.)

Directed by Matt Shakman.

Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne continues.

It stretches from the south, where heat breeds plots, lusts and intrigues, to the vast and savage eastern lands, where a young queen raises an army. All the while, in the frozen north, an 800-foot wall of ice precariously protects the war-ravaged kingdom from the dark forces that lie beyond. Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men...all play the 'Game of Thrones.'

An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.
