GAME OF THRONES' Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson "Hulks Up" For Kids Birthday Party

We may all hate his Game Of Thrones character Gregor "The Mountain" Clegane, but the actor who plays him is the much nicer Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson. See a video of the "strongest man in Iceland" transform into The Hulk and terrify some children at a birthday party.

I think it's fair to say The Mountain is not any Game Of Thrones fan's favorite character at the moment, but the actor who plays him does attempt to bring some joy to a kid on his birthday..even if he winds ups caring the bejaysus out of him in the process! Icelandic strongman Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson underwent a 2 hour makeup job to become the Incredible Hulk and attend a children's party. The birthday boy is initially scared (can you blame him?) but pretty soon joins in the fun. There's no subtitles in the vid, but you should get the gist.

Now I know his voice was definitely dubbed. He doesn't have the "giant" tone at all.

The Mountain is a perfect example of how anyone can be good: goes from smashing a baby's head against a wall, destroying it completely, then raping the mother with the baby's blood and brains still on his hangs before murdering her by crushing her skull to being a children's birthday entertainer!

:D

This guy is fittingly massive but I preferred that Stevenson guy from season one. He looked rougher, older and more likely to go on a murderous raping rampage.

This guy's career is going to blow up, he'd be the perfect actor to portray the Juggernaut

Except he can barely speak English. Most of his lines were dubbed in the show.

Also, the Mountain smashed Elia's head? I guess so. But Oberyn said he split her in half with a sword.

Ror... Most Americans can't speak English. We've done pretty well.

@Ror who cares? David Prowse played Darth Vader and had his voice dubbed in, as did Ray Park for Darth Maul

Why so many actors to play The Mountain? He's supposed to be the older brother (between him and The Hound), but now he looks like The Hound's kid brother. But alas, he dies from the poison-tipped blade anyway. (Oops...spoiler alert)

Anyway, looks like the girls enjoyed his Hulk more than the boys at the party.

Those that think The Mountain dies obviously haven't read past book 3?

Praetorian, Vader wore a mask and Maul had literally 3 lines...unless you want a mostly mute Juggernaut?

@RorMachine - So why doesn't Tyrion get put to death then? I remember The Mountain dying slowly from the poison... Sorry for the spoiler.

Have you not read Book 4?
