"Fear is for the winter."

Fans have been furiously typing "Fire" into the comments section of the Game of Thrones Facebook page for the last while in order to melt the ice and reveal the official season 7 release date, and after what seemed like a full Winter in Westeros, that damn block finally revealed its secrets.

HBO's epic fantasy series will finally return to our screens on 07: 16: 17

We also have a first teaser trailer. There isn't any footage from the new season, but it certainly does its job in hyping the inevitable clash of characters that'll occur in July - plus, we do get our first bit of dialogue from a certain Jon Targ... err, Snow.

Also, is it just here that the days and months in dates are inverted? Here would be "16/07/2017" but in the US they always put the month first, weird.
