We found out that The Night King and his terrifying undead soldiers were on their way to Winterfell at the end of last Sunday's season 8 premiere of Game of Thrones, but our heroes have a secret weapon that the icy bastard won't be expecting: a pissed off Lyanna Mormont.

In all seriousness, not even the badass Lady of Bear Island will be enough to stop the army of the dead, but she looks more than ready to give it her best shot in these promo stills from the second episode. The images also feature Jaime Lannister on trial, Sam and Gilly making the most of the calm before the storm, Jon Snow devising a strategy, and more.

How will Dany react to the news that Jon is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne? Unless the smitten former King in the North decides to keep it a secret, we should find out this Sunday.

For now, check out the stills below and let us know how you think the episode is going to play out.

Sansa is going to bite the dust. She is just too arrogant and blinded by jealousy to see the bigger picture. And that may be her downfall.

@SonOfAGif - Man, I hope so.

I don't want her to survive to the end.

@SonOfAGif - I feel like we are ending with a queen. The other two options on Cersi and Dany. I kind of want a good person on the throne so that eliminates the other options.

Episode lengths for the rest of the season:

Episode 2 (April 21): 58 min
Episode 3 (April 28): One hour, 22 min
Episode 4 (May 5): One hour, 18 min
Episode 5 (May 12): One hour, 20 min
Episode 6 (May 19): One hour, 20 min

So basically we're getting one more regular-length episode and FOUR (short) movies.

I kinda disliked the season premiere. The cgi was pretty noticeable at some points and I just didn’t like how all the characters interactief. That said, I kinda hope the white walkers take the north and Cersei takes the throne

@MalseMarcel - She already has the throne, I would be shocked if nothing changed there and it remained status quo

Just think, next week we get the ending to the most profitable movie franchise of all time and then the largest and most expensive GoT battle in the history of the series. I don't think I can survive this amount of awesomeness at one setting!
