GAME OF THRONES Stars Kit Harington & Rose Leslie Tie The Knot In Scotland With Several Co-Stars In Attendance
Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Rose Leslie (Ygritte) officially tied the knot today in Scotland with several of their Game of Thrones co-stars in attendance to celebrate the joyous occasion.
We've covered a number of Game of Thrones weddings on this site (e.g. the Red Wedding, the Purple Wedding, the Black Wedding), but none have ended quite as happily as the one held earlier today where Kit Harington and Rose Leslie exchanged vows in Scotland.
The pair starred opposite one another for three seasons of the hit HBO series before Ygritte (Leslie) met her untimely end in the Season 4 finale. Snow (Harington) didn't take on another love interest until last year's seventh season finale when he finally took the next step in his relationship with the Mother of Dragons a.k.a. his aunt Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).
Several co-stars were in attendance for the joyous occasion, including Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Richard Madden (Robb Stark), John-Bradley West (Samwell Tarly), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Ben Crompton (Eddison Tollett), and Joe Dempsie (Gendry).
In Season 7, Daenerys Targaryen has finally set sail for Westeros with her armies, dragons and new Hand of the Queen, Tyrion Lannister. Jon Snow has been named King in the North after defeating Ramsay Bolton in the Battle of the Bastards and returning Winterfell to House Stark. In King's Landing, Cersei Lannister has seized the Iron Throne by incinerating the High Sparrow, his followers and her rivals in the Sept of Baelor. But as old alliances fracture and new ones emerge, an army of dead men marches on the Wall, threatening to end the game of thrones forever.
An original series based on George R.R. Martin's best-selling 'A Song of Ice and Fire' series.
