"Medieval" denotes a specific period in real history. It doesn't just mean "olden, swordy times". Game Of Thrones is fantasy, set in a mythical place/era that never existed.

Probably won't see the Red Wedding til last 2 episodes of the season. So much to do. The hiatus between seasons is way too long and the seasons themself are way too short. Aren't they splitting this book into two seasons?

When you say this show is great, it's still an awkward statement, not because it's inappropriate, but because it's done so well, you forget you're watching the HBO network. Yes the HBO network. How many movies air per day on that channel by comparison to how the channel started? Right. Well, they are hanging strong despite being a part of the whole NY/VH-1/MTV/bullshit broadcasting of the past 8 years.

*bypassing art for nepotism.., there's ten times better three blocks down.., you just have to be as brave as you were 20 years ago. There's nothing cutting edge or interesting about what they currently air that is award winning. They have reached the time when Larry Clark is a watered down blueprint.., yikes! Are there any indie rock or just plain rock bands that could come out of your city that just sound good and have no political ties? Millions of souls need to hum whilst you yacht.., or rot..? ;-D
