Tonight Vikings returns for its fifth season and it's going to be brother against brother in a bloody civil war. The teaser for the History channel's hit TV series, is just past the jump.

The adventures of Ragnar Lothbrok: the greatest hero of his age. The series tells the saga of Ragnar's band of Viking brothers and his family as he rises to become King of the Viking tribes. As well as being a fearless warrior, Ragnar embodies the Norse traditions of devotion to the gods: legend has it that he was a direct descendant of Odin, the god of war and warriors.



Starring: Travis Fimmel as Ragnar Lothbrok, Clive Standen as Rollo, Gustaf Skarsgård as Floki, Alexander Ludwig as Bjorn Lothbrok, Alyssa Sutherland as Princess Aslaug, Maude Hirst as Helga and Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha.

New Vikings airs tonight, 9/8c on the History Channel.

Vikings has also been published by Zenescope Publishing and now by Titan Comics.

vikings is by far my favorite show on tv it is definitely worth a watch. The pilot episode is pretty lack luster and turned a lot of people away but the action is great and characters are even better. Give it a watch.

Best [frick]ing show.......... hands down....... after sons of anarchy ended this show was all me.. brutally violent, bloody, and just great all around but ragnar is dead which sucks but ivar the boneless is ruthless
