ABC President Very "Bullish" On An AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 5 Pickup

ABC President Channing Dungey is very optimistic on the chances of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returning for a fifth season. Did you think that would be the case when the show was moved to 10PM?

When Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. was moved from 10PM to 9PM, many of the show's detractors saw that as the first signs of ABC preparing to end the series.  But the new timeslot has produced favorable results according to network president Channing Dungey and as a result, chances are high that Agent Coulson, Daisy and the rest of the covert operatives will be back for another season.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Dungey was asked if she sees a future for the show beyond season 4.  "Absolutely. I’m very bullish on S.H.I.E.L.D. and we’re also really excited about our production with Marvel, ABC Studios, and IMAX, which we are working on for next fall as well."

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns tonight with an all new episode at 10PM on ABC.  CLICK HERE for a preview of what's to come from Ming-Na Wen and Jason O'Mara.
