@desrow Agreed, I believe she was placed in Hydra before the events of Winter Soldier by Nick Fury. He, Fury and maybe Clint, know about her being a double agent.

@Thebest20 Nope. She wasn't even named Mockingbird or had a relationship with Hawkeye for a long while. She worked with SHIELD after getting her PhD in Biology and got sent undercover as a love interest to a suspected AIM agent researching rumors of Man-Thing in the Everglades. Then she became Agent 19 of SHIELD and was assigned as the escort for Ka-Zar and his pet sabertooth during their stay in New York. Ka-Zar was her first love interest. Her first code-name was actually Huntress. She didn't become Mockinbird until nearly a decade after her character was introduced.

I swear a new warriors show could potentially rock. Unfortunately marvel reduced the one great team that carried marvel through the 90s, into a pathetic fame hungry team of rookies. So depending on which way they take it, I could be extremely happy or cursing at the top of my lungs.
