Man, this season is on point. Not a bad episode yet. Never thought that Blacklash could be so badass. Actually his 10 minutes of screen time might have been better than all of Mickey Rourke in IM2.

What a fantastic episode. Mockingbird was great, May kicked some ass. That knife on a string shit was pretty sweet. And Ward and the end...is it wrong that I was cheering when he slipped the cuffs?

For those who didn't see it...the AoU footage was the same trailer but with an added bit in the beginning with the team in Avengers Tower trying to lift Mjolnir.

Also, I loved the episode.

I'd say that's 4 really good ones this season so far.

I still think we'll wind up with an anti-hero Ward. Tonight, he came off as a little bit more than crazy and evil. Good episode all around.

Im still on the fence about coming back to this show. I found the first season to be low budget and buffy-ish.

@Carl

What's wrong with being Buffy-ish?

So I don't have cable which means I don't get most American networks. Which is totally fine cause most stuff airs on Canadian tv the same time as it does there. Hell Toronto had a mayoral election so Gotham aired at 7 PM EST yesterday. But those [frick]ers at CTV didn't air the Ultron clip, didn't air a preview AND instead of the special they are airing The Hunger Games. Bitch I already saw that shit.

Now that my super canucky rant is over.

Another fantastic episode. I was one of the few people who pretty much enjoyed all of Season 1, but ever since Skye got shot this show has been getting better each week.

They built a high stakes situation with reasonable motivation for them to let Ward out of his cell so he could make a break. They did a great job with Mockingbird. I mean the whole 'excellent memory picks up on things freakishly quick', her civilian outfit with the white shirt, name dropping Hawkeye, her fight choreo was way better. Just great.

The stuff with FitzMack and FitzSimmons is fantastic. I ship it hard.

And the way they have managed to lay SO much ground work for Skye's origins this season.

That scene with May and Talbot was a really great moment that had a ton of character with so little dialogue.

And that Hydra agent with the knife on a chain! [frick]! That fight was off the hook!

S2 has been excellent...Ward is my favorite character by far...

I love that no one really knows what Ward is doing. He sounds so sincere when he talks to Skye but his bro is like, he's liar and he's f*cken crazy. Gemma better keep her promise and kill him.

Gemma threatening him was so out of character and great.

@homodrone

That was bullshit, [frick]ing CTV. Who gives a rat's ass about the Hunger Games on cable...I wanted my Ultron footage!

This episode was freaking amazing. Ward and Fitz are definitely the two most interesting characters now. Never saw that coming. And it's a shame...Mack would have made a great Luke Cage. He has presence

Why must the ratings suck for this show? Think of the cross over episodes with Civil War? Season 2 will have probably 4 episodes post Ultron. Season 3 wouldn't tie into anything until Civil War comes out. Can you imagine 4 episodes detailing how SHIELD deals with the death of Captain America? Exploring the fall out, the ripples in the MCU? They really deserve that chance after making such a vast improvement. Quite possibly the best improvement I can recall on a show.

I know, but I can understand where she's coming from though. He almost killed both her and Fitz. I love Coulson's reply when he said he was still part of the team. Lol!

@TheAmericanPatriot - Grow up.

Shield sort of lost me tonight. Suddenly there's Ward's brother and some old guy who turns out to be Hydra. At least The Flash was really good.
