I don't see how that was a spoiler. We knew that Aunt May was being imitated by a Life Model Decoy from the winter finale.

I suppose it could be considered a spoiler if some people were expecting her to die.

@Darkknight2149 - It's spoiler because it reveals the exact episode where May escapes/wakes up. If I didn't label it as such, I'd have complaints that I didn't.

Okay, I can see where you're coming from with that.

@MarkJulian - this is far less of spoiler the the one yesterday that told us Dr. Radcliffe is involved in May's abduction.

@NoMeaning45 - I remember going to midnight screenings of the prequels and how obnoxious the fans' overreactions were to everything. I'm guessing that kind of thing spoiled the experience for people who don't whoop and cheer at the sight of every minor reference.

@Spock0Clock - Ehh, doesn't bother me sometimes.

Except for that R2D2 and C-3PO cameo which people cheered for.

@NoMeaning45 - I went with some friends to the midnight screening of Return of the King (as someone who never watched the first two movies or read the Lord of the Rings books) and it was just constantly cheering and whooping and crying and I'm sitting here like... "I don't get why everyone's so happy about this horse..." lol

I guess as I get older I'm even less tolerant of other people's need to express their excitement about stuff like that. Just enjoy the movie by yourself and talk about it afterward... I don't scream about something that I'm excited about, so I don't like hearing other people do it either.

In real life, I mean. Maybe online, too, to some degree. I guess I do instinctively try to tamp down people's hype, don't I? :/

@Spock0Clock - Yes, you're a monster :)

But I kind of like that level of excitement when it comes to blockbusters, but then when you rewatch it at home, you suddenly realize its not that great and the only reason you had a great time watching it was because of the audience.......:(

@NoMeaning45 - I'm still watching the RLM thing in bits and pieces and the story about who wrote the movie is amazing. I had said that this seemed like a premise from someone's 20 year old fan-script and it basically was. Didn't know how on the nose I was.

@Spock0Clock - It basically is fan-fiction.

Even the fan service feels like something a fan would add, instead of an actual filmmaker.

@NoMeaning45 - Honestly, I loved Rogue One better than I did any of the OT, Episode I, Episode II and Force Awakens.

I saw a couple of comments earlier on fans' positive overreaction to things but lately, I've been witnessing a shift where people get pissed off and nitpicky at anything that's even remotely popular. So much so that they get angry at others who dared to like something that these people hate.

RLM's Rogue One stuff came off to me as pretty mean-spirited in that regard.

Off-topic-ish: Just finished watching Westworld and as someone who has spent some degree of study on consciousness and cognitive development I was happy to see so much of it handled as well as it was.

I don't have anywhere near that level of expectations for Agents' handling of the same topic, though.

Okay... So... Jack O'Connell is now my fancast for a rebooted Wolverine. He's young so he can hold role for a long time, grizzled as all hell, on short side, not leading man handsome, and a good actor.

Yeah... Took me a while to settle on this one, but I'm locked in. Jack O'Connell.

So, he joins Scott Eastwood's Cyclops and Sarah Bolger's Jean Grey.

I like Luke Hemsworth for Beast, and (oddly) Jennifer Lawrence for Emma Frost, and I'm always on the lookout for a good Storm, but she remains elusive (Shipp was actually a good cast, but a bit young for what I'm going for here). But yeah, O'Connell, Eastwood, and Bolger are locked.
