Fresh from his role in the summer’s box office smash, Marvel’s The Avengers, Agent Phil Coulson (Clark Gregg) returns to the worldwide law enforcement organization S.H.I.E.L.D. He puts together a small, highly trained, team of Agents to tackle the cases that haven’t been classified yet, the new, the strange and the unknown. That team consists of straight arrow Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), an expert in combat and espionage; pilot and martial artist Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen); and brilliant if socially awkward scientists Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker) and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge). They'll be joined by civilian new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).

The first episode was good, although a bit underwhelming. This show has a LOT of potential.

I'm cheering for this and Arrow. Both of these shows need to be really good.

There was a behind the scenes featurette somewhere that showed Coulson and some guy fighting on the ceiling in a like spinning room.

I think that was Graviton.

Also, did anyone else noticed the eyepatch on the logo?

I was wrong. It wasn't a behind the scenes featurette.

But this is definitely Coulson fighting Graviton at 0:55:

@ezio
Lol dude I watched Iron man 3 again this week and I actually like it a lot now.. It was more serious and dark than I remember, and while I don't care for the parts where his suit is always falling apart and the mandarin twist I did enjoy it a lot. Go figure lol

But now at I enjoyed that its just avengers that I don't care for.. Like literally the only scene in that movie I enjoyed was when Loki is in Germany and the older gent was all now bowing to 'men like you.' And cap comes in and have a great line.. That part had me very well. But the rest of the movie just didn't appeal to me very much, and I must've watched that about 15 or 20 times

Their Facebook page released this yesterday saying something along the lines of "stay until after the credits - you never know who might show up."
That, coupled with the eye-patch on the logo, pretty much all but confirms Fury's appearance in tomorrow's episode.

I liked it. I think it was flawed but all in all a good start to a show.

This show sucks. It's just a lamer version (if that is possible) of Men In Black for superheroes.

Marvel movies have really made after-credits scenes popular. It would be really cool if they did that for their tv shows as well. I know alot of tv shows have one last end scene before the credits and some during the credits, but they're usually throwaway scenes.

Wow @grif

What a douche! AOS is a good show so far. Can't expect Avengers quality from a TV show.
Looking forward to tonight's episode, should be awesome.

@grif: The car's technology is from the 40's. They make it clear on the show that the car is old. We saw this tech in Captain America's movie. It was created by Howard Stark and shown off at the World's Fair.
