Well that was certainly one of the best choreographed fight scenes we've witnessed thus far in the series. Skye has certainly stepped up her game since we first saw her as a Hacktivist. You can definitely see the training influences from May and Ward on display here.

Which long take did you like best, Daredevil or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.? Chime in below

And that was easily the best scene from both seasons combined. Whoever choreographed that needs to get a raise, it was just beautiful.

Take note, Arrow. This is how you do it.

Do Hydra agents even get combat training? a year ago Skye was a computer hacker, and now she can take down a squad of Hydra agents without even getting hit? THIS is why Hydra will never take over the world.
awesome scene though.

@Nomis
You know you are easily one of the few users on here who I truly respect, but I completely disagree. The fight scenes in Arrow feel clunky, they feel slow, they don't even feel complete. Overtime characters on Arrow fight, you can tell that it's just actors throwing empty punches to open air. Good examples of great fist fights can be found in Nolan's Batman films, and DeKnight's Daredevil. I will say the flashblack/Japanese club scene form this season on Arrow was one of my favorite scenes in a comic book TV show, but I want Arrow to up the ante and make more stuff like that. I hope they hire a new and better choreographer for season 4.

I don't think even May's training or the time passed since Season 1 would have resulted in this.

Strange scene (for Skye) IMO.

@SonofBatman- I sense fear in the Batman. The possibility of Skye taking you out ;)

Top-notch fight choreography and camera work, whoever was rocking the steadicam deserves a raise. I also loved that AoU tie-in at the end of the episode.

Awesome scene. Amazing episode. I'm 7 episodes into Daredevil, and it's incredible, but AoS is still my favourite CBTV show. It's just too much damn fun.

John Wick? Daredevil? Hardly. she just moved slowly & rolled around a bit, in an obviously choreographed scene.

Such a good episode and even better scene. I love one shot scenes. [frick] those who were giving shit to AOS and how its not canon to the MCU. This episode added to AOU; Coulson and his team were behind the intel about the sceptre.

Well, it's Skye's best fight. This, in and of itself, was meh.
Fancy camerawork isn't enough.

I can't do what Michael Jordan does; therefore, what Michael Jordan does is not real – CBM user logic. lol.

There are things I've done in life with very little training that others have thought was impossible, until they saw me do it. Geesh. The world is bigger than your experiences.

@Nomis after watching that Arrow vid you posted, I'm going to have to side with @Pasto . The majority of those scenes were very slow and clumsy and didn't feel natural at all. Lots of people intentionally swinging over the other person's head or standing there waiting to be hit or tumbled. Maybe they work better when they're incorporated into the show, but on their own...oof.

I'm not saying the Skye thing was perfect, it was awkward and over choreographed in a few spots as well. But it was better.
