Even after 6 years of being cancelled, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes is still one of the greatest comic book series of all time. A fan named Chris McAvey even created a petition to revive it on Netflix almost 3 years ago. Recently, I convinced him to create 2 new petitions to restore the lost Josh Keaton audio of the Spider-Man episodes and have Craig Kyle return to Marvel Animation not only as a producer, but as president of Marvel Animation.
The Spider-Man petition stated "Mr. Keaton, who had recorded his dialogue with the rest of the EMH cast, had apparently not been informed of this beforehand. While some fans felt that Bell gave a decent performance, many were disappointed at not getting to hear Keaton's performance as the web-slinger on these episodes.
"I am writing the petiton to encourage Disney, Marvel and Film Roman to restore the Josh Keaton dubs of these episodes, so that fans will have the opportunity to hear and appreciate Mr. Keaton's talent and contribution to this great animated series".
The second petition stated "Mr. Kyle has stated that, if he were appointed as head of Marvel's Animation Division, he would not only bring back "The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes," but other fan-favorite series, such as "The Spectacular Spider-Man" and "Wolverine and the X-Men".
"In the interest of reviving such well-loved series, i feel that it is in the fans' best interest to push for Mr. Kyle's appointment as president of Marvel Animation. #CraigKyleForMarvelAnimationPresident".
While It would actually be interesting to have old audio recovered or appointing a long-time comic-book writer as a television division, it would make fans extremely overjoyed to see their favorite animated Marvel series brought back to life with Kyle in charge of Marvel Animation.
