A Much Better Look At Jon Bernthal As 'The Punisher' On The Set Of DAREDEVIL Season 2

Following those blurry pics from last night, we now have some close-up shots of former The Walking Dead actor Jon Bernthal as a very mean and moody looking Frank Castle. It seems as if the vigilante has been engaging in some fisticuffs too - with Matt Murdock perhaps? Take a look...

We got a pretty good idea of how Bernthal will look as Frank Castle in these initial snaps, but now thanks to Just Jared we have these much more detailed, close-up images of the 38-year-old actor as the Marvel Comics hardcase known as The Punisher. As you can see, no trademark skull logo on his tee-shirt, but it should make an appearance at some point on the show. Castle is looking a little beat-up here... though it's a safe bet the other guy came off worse!

He's got no scull because he's still Frank Castle. Once Frank decide his life ended the Punisher will be the only one who remains.

I bet this Phucker is gonna have a dope as swat team type armor with a skull somewhere on it. I highly doubt this is his attire for the whole damn season. If it is someone needs to put the hurtin' on the wardrobe team.

I like the jarhead look and he's definitely wearing civilian clothes.

I'm really interested in knowing Franks background. Correct me if I'm wrong but in the comics he was a veteran of the Vietnam War, i'm guessing in this, given his age, he might be a veteran of the '91 Gulf War or maybe a later war like the Iraq War or the Afghanistan War.

This just in walking around the city during the day with the same symbol on that u wear while killing people at night may just give u away. I just hole that they do give him the symbol before the last episode and I hope they alter DD costume as well
