Photos from the set of Daredevil: Born Again continue to find their way online, and this latest snap shared by u/DCcomixfan on the Marvel Studios subreddit gives us a first look at the returning Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).
The Kingpin appears to have shed a few pounds since we last saw him in Hawkeye, and fans of that Disney+ series may notice that he's not sporting any visible signs of being shot point-blank by Echo in the season finale.
In the comics, the bullet struck Fisk's eye, but it was only ever rumoured that the villain would re-emerge sporting an eye-patch. Of course, depending when this show takes place on the timeline, he may have had some corrective surgery at some point (in the Echo spin-off, for example).
Fisk will reportedly be running for mayor in the series, and some more (potential) details have now surfaced.
Possible spoilers follow.
According to a new rumor, Fisk will base his campaign on an initiative to "clean up" the streets by stamping out vigilante action, and the likes of Daredevil, Punisher, Hawkeye, Kate Bishop and even Spider-Man are said to be on his hit-list.
It's said that this arc could play out across multiple shows and movies, including Spider-Man 4 (though it's always best to be wary of any rumoured plot details for a project that doesn't even have a completed script yet).
Whether this is accurate obviously remains to be seen, but it would make sense given Kingpin's past dealings with these characters, who have always stood in the way of him gaining absolute power.

Joining D'Onofrio, Charlie Cox and Jon Bernthal will be new cast members include Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, and Sandrine Holt.
Most of the new characters remain under wraps, but we recently learned that Holt will play The Kingpin's wife, Vanessa Fisk.
The show will be loosely based on the '80s Marvel Comics series of the same name by Frank Miller and David Mazzuchelli, but is not expected to be an overly faithful adaptation. Despite some significant changes to the story, "Daredevil versus Wilson Fisk, aka the Kingpin, remains the focal point."
Matt Corman and Chris Ord are on board as writers and executive producers. No premiere date has been announced, but the show is expected to bow in the spring of 2024.
