Two new official images from Daredevil season two have been released, and as well as an incredible shot of the Man Without Fear squaring off with The Punisher, we see Matt Murdock and Karen Page growing even closer. What will Elektra make of that? Check it out...

The first season of Daredevil was something of a slow burn, with The Kingpin (who isn't expected to appear in season two according to Entertainment Weekly) being slowly revealed and the show making us wait until the finale to see the Man Without Fear suited up. However, new showrunners Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez have promised a faster paced follow-up, with the former stating: "The advantage of any sequel is you can dive right in. We hit the ground running and then we ran as fast as we f—ing could." There's no sign of that Elektra image just yet, so hopefully a high quality version of that is going to find its way online a little later today. The suit DEFINITELY looks different
The fabric and texture looks different than the one from the season one finale. More streamlined and form fitting.

Hulk, deadpool, punisher my 3 all time marvel favourites. Hope jon bernthal punisher quickly evolve into the comicbook punisher we all come to respect. Netflix don't screw this up you already cast the perfect actor just suit him up already!

When it comes to spoiler articles, what's the entire point of clicking at your own risk when you post a large hint at the spoiler in the teaser? I've noticed it done before on here and you, and others, really need to stop that because it ruins the movie for those who don't want to know about spoilers concerning a movie or the huge character deaths in that movie. I'm pretty sure that posting a non-biased teaser would help with that a lot.

Only two? Ok.

The pics do look great though. Both of them. Excited for the next year.I Just hope they don't pull an Jessica Jones and under-perform.

Shoutout to Jon for repping us 5'10 brothas! Punisher is supposed to be 6'2 but with some extra soles in a few pairs of boots I think he can increase in height to at least 6'0 for certain scenes.

@STORMKAMI: Acting and characters were certainly better than Daredevil.

But pacing is horrendous. It was very much exhausting for me to get through the series. I mean, I literally forgot that I had to complete it, for few days. Jessica Jones was great but not at all Daredevil Great. I wouldn't mind slow burn, but for few episodes it was directionless. Not that I hated it. but felt rather.....unsatisfied.

Remember, both Jessica Jones and Daredevil never fully embrace their costumes. Hell, most of the Marvel Universe doesn't embrace their costumes like Warner Brothers have started to.

At this stage in the game, if we don't have the DD on Daredevil, I wouldn't expect a Skull on Punisher. It's not like I mind though, it's not like a simple symbol defines both of their characters (plus we've had plenty of chances to see the Skull on a live-action Punisher and both suits did a great job).

As far as the red goes, remember the suit is quite red, but it's being affected by lighting to suit the mood of the scene. In the picture above the lights are contrasting oranges and blues. But in the latter picture, the colors are Red and Greens.

Of course The Punisher is going to have his SKULL logo shirt! Maybe not right away in the second season but I don't doubt he'll rock it eventually
