Vincent D'Onofrio reprised the role of The Kingpin in Hawkeye, with Charlie Cox making his grand return as Matt Murdock just days later in Spider-Man: No Way Home. Both characters will return in 2024's Daredevil: Born Again (along with shows like She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Echo), but will they be joined by more familiar faces from Netflix's Daredevil?
One character whose name is frequently suggested by fans is Karen Page. Played by Deborah Ann Woll, her story arc definitely became a tad chaotic as time passed, but she remains a fan-favourite love interest and supporting character in the Man Without Fear's world.
Collider recently spoke to Woll and asked what it's been like for her to see that outpouring of love from fans. "So, I mean, it means so much to me. I love that character so much, and I do miss it," the actress admits. "I really felt like we were unfinished. We had so much more story to tell."
"So yeah, it's really gratifying to see how much people love her and want to see more from her. I hope I get to," Woll teases. "I'm here. They know my number."
The True Blood alum would go on to say, "I'm available, as far as I know. But it's up to them. I know they're going to tell the best story that they know how to tell. And if that includes Karen Page, that will be so exciting. But if it doesn't, I will be a happy viewer."
All signs point to Daredevil: Born Again being a fresh start for its title character in the MCU, and Karen brings a lot of baggage with her. It could be that Marvel Studios hopes to introduce a new love interest for Matt, and there are certainly plenty of possibilities from the comic books on that front.
