Vincent D'Onofrio made a huge impact in Daredevil, and when the series reached its end, fans were devastated to bid farewell to the actor. Thankfully, Marvel Studios made things right by bringing his Kingpin back in Hawkeye last year, and all eyes are now on when his Wilson Fisk could return.
After being outed as the one behind the hit put out on Clint Barton, the Kingpin of Crime squared off with Kate Bishop and was eventually gunned down by Maya Lopez after she learned that he was responsible for her father's death. While it appeared she killed the villain, the camera panned away before we could see what happened and comic book fans will know Fisk survived a similar injury on the page.
With production currently underway on Echo, there's been a lot of speculation that we'll see more of Kingpin in that Disney+ series ahead of Daredevil's eventual debut on the streaming service.
That's seemingly been reinforced by a recent Twitter post from D'Onofrio revealing he's been hitting the gym hard. "63 but who's counting," the actor says below along with the hashtag, "#NoFearNoGreedNoEnvy." There are many different roles he could be preparing for, of course, but we'd be shocked if The Kingpin doesn't make his presence felt in Echo somehow.
While it's been confirmed that a new Daredevil TV series is in the works, we don't know exactly what Marvel Studios has planned for the Man Without Fear. After returning in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock is expected to make an appearance in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law this summer (potentially with a snazzy new red and yellow costume).
As for The Kingpin, it would be smart to use him as a foe to both Daredevil and the wider MCU.
