First Official Image Of Elodie Yung As ELEKTRA In DAREDEVIL Season 2

When we last saw Elektra, she was being played in a truly terrible movie starring Jennifer Garner (a film which was so bad that it's up there with Catwoman as being responsible for why studios are so reluctant to release female led superhero movies). However, like The Man Without Fear before her, Elektra is set to find redemption in season two of Daredevil. It's fair to say that Elodie Yung most definitely looks the part anyway, and for more details on both her and The Punisher's role in the Netflix series, be sure to click here. She's supposed to be a Greek chick but this actress doesn't even have a unibrow or mustache.

she looks Greek alright (or Greecian as W.Bush used to say haha). hope she's not one of those martial artist-turned actor though. they're always terrible performers

I got to see the Globetrotters play a few years ago. I didn't realize it's basically a WWE version of basketball with everything being scripted. Still cool to see all the tricks, but I only lasted about 20 minutes.

She looks good, I'm more concerned with Bernthal as Castle. I think he'll be good but the presence isn't there yet, imo.

I don't think I'll ever get over the fact that Tom Hardy said that he would "Love" to play The Punisher and nothing came of it.... that would have been amazing, I can't wait to see him in 100 Bullets though

Yeah, I haven't watched Hunger Games, or Divergent, or the Snow White and The Huntsmen movie, but they were/are successful, I think movies like Kill Bill, Lucy, etc, etc, also prove that there is a big audience for female led action/CBMs

I really don't care that she looks pretty. Pretty girls are a dime a dozen. Easily google some nudes. Show me Elektra.

Elodie will be a good Elektra, I think.... I still would have liked to seen Sofia Boutella as Elektra, I think she has a lot of potential, maybe they'll bring her in to play Echo, if they ever go that route.

I watched "Legend", and Hardy would have absolutely killed it as the Castle/Punisher. The fact that he said that he would "Love" to play him, and nothing came of it, will also haunt me, haha

Same here, I really like Boutella. She has a unique and real presence, imo, and the things she can do, haha. I hope we see more of her in future CBMs. I'm looking forward to seeing her in Star Trek Beyond, I heard Pegg really didn't like the last Star Trek trailer either and he helped write the script, so I still have hope for that movie

@0megaDaGr0dd When Marvel first said that if the Netflix series proved good enough, a feature film wouldn't be out of the question. I believe Born Again would make a great feature film and return for DD on the big screen.

@Castiglione I really wanna see her get a lot of work. She stole the show in Kingsman with her physicality and presence. She'd fit well in the revitalized Mad Max franchise I think and ....WOULD LOVE TO SEE HER IN A TARANTINO FILM!!!! He could do wonders for her. Quentin could create a badass character for Boutella.
