Hulu has released a new trailer and some key art for Marvel's Hit-Monkey, which is set to debut on the streaming service on November 17.

From co-creators and executive producers Josh Gordon and Will Speck, the adult animated series tells the story of a Japanese snow monkey who joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin after his tribe is slaughtered. Together, the unlikely partners begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld.

Check out the bonkers new trailer below and let us know what you think.

The show features the voice talents of Fred Tatasciore as Monkey, Jason Sudeikis as Bryce, George Takei as Shinji, Olivia Munn as Akiko, Ally Maki as Haruka, Nobi Nakanishi as Ito.

Since Marvel's small-screen division is now under the Marvel Studios/Disney banner, chances are Hit-Monkey will only run for a single season, but that might all depend on how successful this first batch of episodes prove to be. The series certainly looks like a damn good time.

What do you guys think? Do you plan on giving Hit-Monkey a go when all ten episodes arrive next month?

@AnthonyVonGeek - It’s different now. Hulu is US only. All Hulu shows had to find different homes internationally. Broadcasters tend not to promote shows like that heavily unless there’s a direct contract. For example Sky have a deal with HBO in the UK so they push advertising for HBO shows. No network has a contract with Hulu so Hulu shows appear on different networks. When that’s the case it results in minimal advertising and thus the shows suffer massively. The reason it’s now different is because of Disney+. All Hulu shows are lumped into Star internationally which is part of your D+ subscriptions. So outside of the US this will be pushed on D+ where it’ll find it’s audience. That’s why more shows on Hulu are now finding success and being renewed as of late.
