Marvel Studios has announced that I Am Groot will premiere exclusively on Disney+ on Wednesday, August 10 - which is just one week before the launch of their next live-action series She-Hulk starring Tatiana Maslany and Mark Ruffalo.

The upcoming series of original shorts will follow the adventures of Baby Groot, presumably voiced by Vin Diesel (Fast X; Guardians of the Galaxy), as he lands himself into all kinds of trouble while growing up aboard the Milano.

There aren't many details at this time, but since the animated series will take place between the events of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Avengers: Infinity War, there's a decent chance we could see some familiar faces pop in throughout the course of the show's run.

Kirsten Lepore helmed the series, with Ryan Little serving as showrunner. Kevin Feige and James Gunn are attached as executive producers, so there's always a chance the series might potentially have ties to the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.

The series of original shorts —following Baby Groot’s glory days growing up, and getting into trouble among the stars — premieres on August 10 exclusively on Disney+. Take a look at the brand new poster for the series above, featuring a very relaxed little Baby Groot just chilling out with his favorite tunes.
