With the Marvel Studios panel nearly upon us, Marvel Entertainment & FX Networks have debuted the first official trailer for their upcoming X-Men universe series Legion, which stars Dan Stevens (Beauty and the Beast) as David Haller, known in the comics as the son of Charles Xavier. The trailer is quite the trip as Haller takes us through a tale of his encounter with a fellow patient, which causes him to question his own sanity and possibly more. The series comes to us from Fargo creator Noah Hawley and is set to premiere early 2017. Check out the first look below:

Legion follows David Haller, a troubled young man who may be more than human. Diagnosed as schizophrenic, David has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals for years. But after a strange encounter with a fellow patient, he’s confronted with the possibility that the voices he hears and visions might be real.

I was 100% down for this the minute I heard Noah hawley was involved. This just solidified that for me. Fargo is one of the best shows on TV. Im very excited.
