Although she hasn't exactly been campaigning for the role, Aubrey Plaza has made no secret of the fact that she'd love to play Catwoman in a movie, and the actress hilariously "auditioned" to play the Batman baddie on
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert last night.
Colbert mentioned that Matt Reeves is currently casting supporting roles for
The Batman, and seems to believe that Selina Kyle will feature in the movie in some capacity. This would gel with previous rumors, but we still don't have confirmation.
At any rate, Plaza donned some cat-ears and proceeded to lick the host's face in a mock effort to secure the part.
Plaza is clearly just having a bit of fun here, but do you think she'd make a good Catwoman? Check out the video below, along with some photos from Aubrey's recent shoot with

Plaza is often asked which superhero she'd most like to play during interviews, which is what led to her fondness for Catwoman coming to light.
The 34-year-old actress broke-out playing the gloriously cynical April Ludgate on April Ludgate on NBC sitcom
Parks and Recreation. Her first leading role was Darius Britt in the 2012 film
Safety Not Guaranteed
Although she hasn't appeared in a comic book movie yet, Plaza portrayed Lenny in the first two seasons of FX's X-Men spinoff show,
Legion, and will return as the fan-favorite character when the series' final season kicks off on June 24.
Plaza's next big-screen appearance will be in horror remake
Child's Play, which is set to hit theaters on June 21.
