Hulu has confirmed today, during their annual Television Critics Association summer press tour appearance, that Marvel's
Runaways will return for its ten-episode third season on December 13. All ten episodes will debut together.
The new season will reportedly pick up not long after the events of season two, with the currently active Runaways - Alex (Rhenzy Feliz), Nico (Lyrica Okano) and Molly (Allegra Acosta) - still looking for a way to rescue their captured friends Chase (Gregg Sulkin), Gert (Ariela Barer) and Karolina (Virginia Gardner), while also simultaneously trying to protect Leslie (Annie Wersching) and her unborn child.
It was also revealed during the presentation that at some point this season, Nico will draw the entire gang into a dark realm ruled by the sorceress Morgan le Fay (Elizabeth Hurley), which should be very interesting.
Every teenager thinks their parents are evil.
