Quite a lot of the promotion in the buildup to the premiere of The Gifted has focused on the Strucker family, who will be the principal protagonist of the show. However, FOX has now debuted some new posters that spotlight the more established mutant characters that will almost certainly be the biggest selling point for comic book fans.

Below you'll find stylish new looks at Polaris, Thunderbird, Blink, and a character some believe will actually turn out to be Sunspot, Eclipse.

THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.

The Gifted premieres this fall.

Oh yeah I saw them earlier.

I am really interested in these mutants. Jamie Chung will have more room to work here than in Gotham too.

Polaris and Thunderbird look promising too.

Those Blink contacts are more than a bit janky... Like they're just off the shelf from a costume party.

Costume store, I mean. I guess. Is that what they're called? Costume store?

Love me some Jamie Chung. She's the main reason I'll be tuning in.

I really hope this show does well though. However, it being on FOX is my biggest concern, even more so than the direction they seem to be taking the story in. It just seems too bland from what I've seen thus far, which is the classic 'mutants on the run, in hiding, because they're being wiped off the Earth' trope.

Prove me wrong, FOX.

Hope this show is good. It'd be nice to see actual full size sentinels hunting these mutants. That may be a stretch, but we have gotten King Shark and Grodd on Flash. That and I'd love to see some D list mutants make an appearance.

@FreelancePeacekeeper - I think it's been said already that the "sentinels" will be those rolling robots with arms/legs that were seen in the trailer. I could be wrong though.

@FreelancePeacekeeper -
I think we'll have different types of Sentinels, but not the big ones, cause after DOFP it would not make much sense tbh, also...budjet. :P

@Doomsday8888 - What part of Fox's X-Men continuity makes sense? Maybe Nimrod-type sentinels or something would be neat.
