THE GIFTED Director Bryan Singer Shares A New Behind-The-Scenes Image Of Emma Dumont As Polaris

Last night, we found out that Marvel and Fox TV's new X-Men drama series, The Gifted, had been picked up for a full series order, and we also got our first glimpse of some footage courtesy of an intriguing teaser trailer.
Among other things, the teaser gave us a brief look at Emma Dumont as Polaris, and now Bryan Singer has shared another behind-the-scenes image of the character - though we're not sure what the heck is going on in the scene that's being shot here.
This take on Lorna Dane is described as a "strong-willed, brave and loyal mutant who has the ability to manipulate magnetism." It doesn't look like she's going to have her signature green hair from the comics, however.
The full trailer for The Gifted will be with us on May 15.
THE GIFTED, from Marvel, tells the story of a suburban couple whose ordinary lives are rocked by the sudden discovery that their children possess mutant powers. Forced to go on the run from a hostile government, the family joins up with an underground network of mutants and must fight to survive.
