WandaVision may be nearing its final episode, but more Marvel Studios content is coming to Disney+ in the form of a new documentary series titled Assembled. Promising to take us behind-the-scenes of the TV shows and movies set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the first instalment will be put the spotlight on WandaVision.
Titled Assembled: The Making of WandaVision, this first episode will stream on March 12th, and deliver an in-depth look at how the first live-action TV series from Marvel Studio was made.
Now, we have a very cool poster hyping up its release next Friday, and going behind-the-scenes of the series promises to be a blast (especially when it comes to how the sitcoms were made and the return of Evan Peters to the role of "Pietro Maximoff" after playing him in Fox's X-Men Universe).
It sounds a lot like Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, which featured roundtable interviews focusing on specific elements of those initial eight chapters, along with behind-the-scenes footage. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19, season two was just a one-off special released on Christmas Day.
It looks like Marvel Studios will do its own thing, though, and Assembled sounds like an interesting concept. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier is likely to follow, and we wouldn't be surprise if we get a special like this for Black Widow when it's eventually released in theaters (and Disney+?) this coming May.
