Marvel Studios has finally given us a look at the full trailer for the upcoming What If...? animated series, which is set to premiere on Disney+ on August 11.
The teaser begins with a very familiar scene from the first Iron Man movie, as Tony Stark finds himself starring at one of his own missiles. This time, though, it doesn't explode and set him on the path to becoming the heroic Armored Avenger, because he's saved by... Eric Killmonger?
From there, we're introduced to alternate reality versions of some of the MCU's finest, including Captain Carter, T'Challa the Ravager, Zombie Captain America. If you watch closely, you'll also spot the likes of Peter Parker (as Doctor Strange?) Howard the Duck, Pepper Potts, the Warriors Three, and what appears to be Scott Lang as a head in a jar.
We were told to expect a weird and wonderful revisionist trip through the MCU's history!
