Netflix shared a brief teaser for this one during "Geeked Week" earlier this month, but we now have a full trailer for upcoming British-German horror movie, Blood Red Sky.
Co-written and directed by Peter Thorwarth (Bang Boom Bang), the high-concept plot follows a mother as she's forced to take drastic measures to protect her son when a group of terrorists attempt to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight. One woman against a team of heavily armed men may not seem like the best odds, but she does have one thing going for her: she happens to be a vampire.
It's certainly an intriguing premise, and the trailer promises plenty of blood-soaked action. Check it out below, and let us know what you think. Oh, and DC's Legends of Tomorrow fans are sure to recognize one of the terrorists!
"A woman with a mysterious illness is forced into action when a group of terrorists attempt to hijack a transatlantic overnight flight. In order to protect her son she will have to reveal a dark secret, and unleash the inner monster she has fought to hide," reads the official logline.
Blood Red Sky stars Chidi Ajufo, Peri Baumeister, Graham McTavish, Roland Møller, Dominic Purcell and Alexander Scheer. No release date has been announced.
