Netflix 2022 Slate Preview Reveals First Footage From The GRAY MAN, KNIVES OUT 2, ENOLA HOLMES 2, And More

There may not have been many movies to write home about in January, but 2022 is still shaping up to be an exciting year. Now, Netflix has shared a look ahead to what they have in store for us, revealing the first footage from a number of huge movies heading our way over the next 11 months.

We get a fair bit of footage from the Russo Brothers' The Gray Man (starring Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, and Ana de Armas), and it looks like the Avengers: Endgame filmmakers are pulling out all the stops in terms of action. This has been described as the streaming service's most expensive movie, so we're expecting a real spectacle when it arrives on Netflix a little later this year.

Footage from Enola Holmes 2 is also spotlighted, along with movies like Guillermo del Toro's Pinocchio, Slumberland, The Adam Project, The School for Good and Evil, and Knives Out 2.

While Netflix movies do tend to be a little hit or miss, there are a lot of exciting projects here with some big names attached, including Ryan Reynolds, Charlize Theron, Jason Momoa, Mark Ruffalo, Daniel Craig, and Henry Cavill.

They really made a movie about a girl being tall?

@BlackBeltJones - two movies* this is a sequel. I’m disappointed it’s not about an even taller girl personally

Very excited for The Gray Man, more suited to the Russos than the misfire ‘Let’s do every genre in one movie-Cherry’ was. Been too long since i’ve had Gosling in my screen

Definitely excited for The Gray Man, which I read and can see how it'll translate into an action packed movie, Knives Out 2 and The Adam Project.

Have been burnt by Netflix's big movies so hope these are good at least.

Definitely looking forward to another villainous turn from Chris Evans

Enola is right, it is weird everybody is talking to the camera.

Anyway, I'm excited for quite a bunch of these. Although it's easy to watch them at home, I do feel some of these belong on the big screen though.

Blanc doesn’t look as husky as he did in first film

@BlackBeltJones - I think the long gap between Bond films just gave him the leeway to gain weight, I don't think it was for the role of Blanc. He got in incredible shape for 50+ for NTTD, so I guess he just kind of maintained it more than usual for this

@tmp3 - Yea I figured. I kind of like him as the pudgy detective. Added a charm to the character

Knives Out 2 should be referred to as:

"Spoons In"

...and that's all I have to say on that matter.
