Netflix Reveals First Footage From ARMY OF THE DEAD, RED NOTICE And More In Preview Of 2021 Slate

Netflix just dropped a trailer hyping its 2021 slate, and while theaters remain closed, we have plenty to get excited about on the streamer if this preview of Army of the Dead and more is any indication!

We don't know when theaters will be able to start screening movies as normal, but Netflix has plenty of big releases coming our way this year which should more than fill the void.

The big reveal here is our first glimpse of some footage Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead and Red Notice, the upcoming action movie starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot. Both look like they should be a lot of fun, as does Jason Momoa's new action flick, Sweet Girl

Lin-Manuel Miranda makes his directorial debut with Tick, Tick...Boom! starring Andrew Garfield, while it's hard not to be excited about David Washington and Zendaya's Malcolm & Marie (shot during lockdown) or Octavia Spencer's superhero movie, Thunder Force. There's a lot to discuss, and clearly a tonne of great content heading our way on the streaming service with A-List talent attached.

We'll no doubt see a lot more from these movies over the coming months, and it's comforting to know that they won't be delayed due to theaters being closed by the pandemic.

Take a look at this sneak peek for 2021's slate below:

And this is why Disney and HBO Max always gets cancelled after 1 show is done airing and Netflix makes you keep paying even though you don't watch anything.

Army of the Dead and that Western look interesting but other than that Netflix doesn’t have anything I’m interested in at this point. I leech Netflix (Unsubscribed after all the Marvel shows got cancelled) for stuff here and there but I’ve primarily switched to the Disney Plus Bundle and HBO Max

@Mando - Isn’t it kind of commonly known they spend far more on production than they actually make in revenue? I don’t understand how that’s actually sustainable but I’ve heard it a lot
