Millie Bobby Brown is set to star in new Netflix fantasy adventure movie, Damsel, from director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (28 Weeks Later, Intruders)

Plot details are few and far between, but we do know that the highly in-demand Stranger Things actress will play Princess Elodie, who is duped into thinking she's been betrothed to Prince Henry before discovering that she's actually going to be sacrificed to a dragon. It sounds like this one might have a comedic tone, but the trades don't seem to know very much about it yet.

Brown will also executive produce alongside Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum. The script was written by Dan Mazeau (Wrath of the Titans, Cowboy Ninja Viking).

Damsel continues Brown's highly lucrative relationship with Netflix, which began with the smash-hit sci-fi/horror series Stranger Things. The actress most recently appeared as the title character in Enola Holmes, which reportedly scored the biggest single-week viewing for an original streaming movie since the figures started being monitored.

Brown has several big screen projects in the works, including Warner Bros/Legendary's Godzilla vs. Kong, in which she'll reprise her role from Godzilla: King of the Monsters. She will also return as Eleven for the fourth season of Stranger Things, which is currently in production.

Millie was fantastic in Enola Holmes - a true leading star. And she's just 16. I could see her doing very well in other lead roles.

Hopefully it's good, Godzilla King Of The Monsters was crap and Enola Holmes was okay at best

I see some people saying she was good in Enola Holmes. That's good, considering I thought she was mediocre at best in Godzilla KOTM and found her a bit subpar in Stranger Things s3.

She looks a bit like a young Natalie Portman in that pic

Anyone else getting tired of untalented actors and actresses being forced on us?

@AnthonyVonGeek - no offence, but she’s doing a whole lot better than me or you at the age of 16. Talent or not...

@AnthonyVonGeek - All offense, You seem to be in a minority on this opinion. And what people are forcing you to watch? Do you not have dominion over your senses to change the channel or not watch a movie?
