After acquiring the film from Sony Pictures earlier this year, Netflix has finally released the official trailer for Patrick Hughes' upcoming action-comedy The Man from Toronto.
The movie stars 2x Primetime Emmy-nominee Kevin Hart (Central Intelligence; DC League of Super-Pets) and 3x Academy Award-nominee Woody Harrelson (Venom: Let There Be Carnage; True Detective) in the lead roles as a pair of men caught in a case of mistaken identity.
The plot centers on the world’s deadliest assassin, the titular “Man from Toronto” (Harrelson), and a down-on-his-luck regular guy (Hart), who get mistaken for one another while they're staying at an Airbnb. Hilarious shenanigans ensue as they both try to make it out of their respective predicaments alive.
2x Primetime Emmy-nominee Kaley Cuoco (The Big Bang Theory; The Flight Attendant), Jasmine Mathews (The Tomorrow War; The Rookie), Lela Loren (American Gods; Power), Pierson Fodé (Supergirl; The Bold and the Beautiful), Jencarlos Canela (Telenovela; Grand Hotel), and Primetime Emmy-winner Ellen Barkin (The Fan; Animal Kingdom) round out the supporting cast.
The Man from Toronto starts streaming on June 24.
A case of mistaken identity arises after a screw-up sales consultant and the world’s deadliest assassin—known only as The Man from Toronto— run into each other at a holiday rental. Kevin Hart and Woody Harrelson star in this action packed comedy only on Netflix 6/24.
