They're creepy and they're kooky; Mysterious and spooky; They're all together ooky... The Nevermore Academy!

Following the recent - and surprisingly bloody - first trailer, Netflix (via FearHQ) has released a new teaser for Tim Burton's upcoming The Addams Family spinoff, Wednesday.

Jenna Ortega's sullen anti-heroine actually only appears in one brief shot at the end, as this promo focuses on the students Wednesday will encounter in the prestigious Nevermore Academy.

Introduced by Principal Larissa Weems (Game of Thrones alum Gwendoline Christie), the video spotlights the various ghosts, witches, vampires, shape-shifters and werewolves(?) we'll meet over the course of the series. Previous takes on The Addams Family have contained some horror elements, of course, but it looks like Wednesday is going full-on supernatural.

Check out the new sneak peek below.

Wednesday also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia, Luis Guzmán as Gomez, Isaac Ordonez as Pugsly, and Thing... as Thing. Christina Ricci, who played Wednesday Addams in the '90s Addams Family movie and its sequel Addams Family Values, has also been cast in an undisclosed role.

The coming-of-age comedy series, which has Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville, Into the Badlands) on board as showrunners, is said to be "a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy. Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore."

Burton will make his TV directing debut with the show, and will also executive produce alongside Jonathan Glickman, Andrew Mittman, Kayla Alpert, Gail Berman, Steve Stark, and Kevin Miserocchi.

A premiere date is expected to be announced at the upcoming Tudum fan-event.

So it's Harry Potter but for Goth kids... which is kinda redundant because Goth kids already love Harry Potter.

Please don't suck, Please don't suck, PLEASE DON'T SUCK!!!! I am very much looking forward to this one, I hate doing that now, usually I just get disappointed by the weak and amateurish writing in most stuff

Tim Burton directing the Addams Family... sold

Jenny Ortega was phenomenal in You and Scream 5. Great casting all around the board, going to be fun.
